AN ATKINS PROJECT.
Durrat Al Bahrain is intended to provide an exotic resort lifestyle. The 20km² masterplan consists of a broad arc of six man-made, serif-shaped atolls each with an exclusive community of 172 villas that boast either individual yacht moorings or private beaches.
The open space strategy for the new development centred around the creation of multiple pedestrian friendly linkages across the marina precinct in the form of boardwalks, open pedestrian plaza’s & pedestrian arcades centred about the retail district in the marina
