AN ATKINS PROJECT. Appointed to produce designs for a new 560 berth marina with approximately 3.6 hectares of landside facilities. The brief was to provide a market leading marina with high quality facilities for cruising and racing yachtsman. The new marina comprises of a range of buildings including a bar & restaurant, administration and office space, washroom facilities, maritime business units and landside boat storage. The marina proposals were designed to deliver appropriate land and berths for use in the 2012 Olympic Games, Paralympic Games and associated practice / trial events in 2010 and 2011, all of which went well.
