2002 – 2004

Public Domain Landscape Architect and Urban Designer

Ludwig was employed by the former South Sydney Council (amalgamated into the City of Sydney during tenure) after completing the Master of Urban Development and Design course at the University of New South Wales in early 2002. He was responsible for the design and project management of the City of Sydney’s street tree replacement program ($10m), the biannual flower displays ($3m) and the re-design of existing City parks. At South Sydney City Council, he helped to deliver the emerging Public Domain Plans and associated development controls, providing regular landscape and urban design planning referrals on major developments and urban regeneration projects, in line with the vision he helped to set.
