DESIGN REVIEW

Ludwig’s design review panel experience began in 2012 when he was selected as Built Environment Expert (BEE) for the Design Council CABE, providing specialist urban design, landscape and public realm design advice on projects across London and the UK. Soon after Ludwig was also successfully added to London Borough of Islingtons’ Design Review Panel, providing specialist advice on many of the boroughs major projects. In 2016 Ludwig was also invited by Queenlsand Investment Council, Brisbane (QIC) and the Strelka Institute, Moscow to provide design review services for major developments in Australia and Russia respectively.

Becoming a BEE or joining any design review panel is a career highlight and the application requirements are strict.

Successful applicants must demonstrate the following experience:

Applying the principles of inclusive and sustainable design.
Working effectively in multi-disciplinary team
Successfully delivering projects.
Building relationships with, and strengthening the capacity and skills of clients.
Facilitating events and chairing meetings.
Assessing design and/or client needs by employing advanced analytical skills.
Interpreting and applying national and local policy.
Being an advocate for good design, an expert in ones field, and influencing diplomatically, employing expert communication skills.
